My friday post, today.

So I was just surfing the web doing anything but what I was supposed to be doing and came across this article. I found it to be very interesting and thought you might like to read it. It is regarding depression and negative thinking and how people who deal with these have their brain hardwired to react too much, and too fast to the stressors around them. It also provides us with 3 tips that we can use to re-train our brain to be happier. Theres more to it than that but this is my very very brief summary of it. Hope you enjoy, and here's to changing the activity in our brain to the left pre-frontal cortex so that we can be happier! lol

I haven't read the article yet but I needed to comment on our beginning sentence of surfing the web doing anything but...lol

As soon as I read it I thought, "what else is new?! I do that too." lol

This article was kind of funny to me. Here's why: In the past, when I have had negative thoughts, I've told myself, f off you bees! lol Also, every time someone tells me I can't, I say, "Wanna bet you bee?!! Try me!"

Then I have thought of all the damage/pain I wish I could cause that person. lol I'm so deviant! lol Anwyay, thinking of that gives me such great pleasure (am I horrible or what?!) that I forget why I was even mad/sad in the first place & I just laugh at myself & that person for being such a huge douche.

However, this last period of learning & self discovery has been harder than that & I don't quite know why. Perhaps because it isn't about anyone else but myself & the f off negative thoughts hasn't quite worked. lol

Who knows but I can honestly say that I'm trying my hardest to get in touch with my inner devil so that I can be happier. lol Maybe punching the crap out of something or someone would help ease my tension. Any volunteers? lol
