Do you ever Google yourself??
For the most part, I leave it alone but on occassion I have googled myself just to see what kind of stuff is easily accessible to the whole world about me. What I found was:
My Sing Along Song
What song makes you sing along ALL THE TIME?? For me it's Sweet Home Alabama by Lynard Skynard & All Summer Long by Kid Rock. I've heard both today, isn't that odd?? Maybe not with it being Summer & all.

How fast do you type?
Due to criminologynerd's twitter status a few days ago regarding typing, I went looking for a free online typing test to see what my typing speed was. I scored 77! :( I need more practice but my score was considered fast based on other people's scores. The average typing score is in the 30's! So, let's see how you score!
The Harry Potter movie trailer looks really good. Are you going to go to midnight showing? I 3-D or 2-D, I can just imagine all the special effects it will have. I have not been to the movie theater in a long time....lol So I am just going to wait until it comes out on DVD. That is too funny about the mugger. Those swords are really long and heavy, it would have been funny to see the look on his eyes. It was Carlos that said lets see whos faster. Priceless. Today I am babysitting my niece A at her house, while she's singing to S on her guitar...lol Mary had a little lamb. I have to get going the little guy is getting hungry.

Bad ass!
So, get this here in Ol' Y-town there was this lady who was grocery shopping at Fry's on 24th St. When she went out to put her groceries in the back of the car some guy comes up behind her with a knife and demands she give him her purse. So, the lady said hold on it in the back seat and when she went to get it she pulls out this huge 25-inch Turkish scimitar sword that she uses while belly dancing. She held the sword up to the guys stomach and asked, "You still want my purse?"
Hahaha, serves that douche right for trying to steal her purse. I would have pulled a George Lopez (or was it Carlos Mencia) on his ass, "Who's faster... ju or me?"

Amen to Men who Cook!
A new study in the American Journal of Epidemiology found that moms who work full-time are more likely to have overweight and obese kids. The reason? Fewer home cooked meals. So, dads please get in that kitchen! Not only will you help your Wife or Grilfriend out but you will also help lower the obesity problem.
Can't cook? No problem! Men cook every single day on this site, http://mantestedrecipes.com/ along with other social network sites that were designed for the dads who want to learn to cook. *Whispers* PSST! Men, you're not alone in the "can't cook" department.
Many Americans don't know how to cook. Why? Their parents never taught them & they haven't taken the initiative to learn.

What's the appropriate cell phone age?
I know we've all discussed the issue of children carrying cell phones & how ridiculous some parents are. A 6 year old with a cell phone? Come on!!
So, what's the appropriate age you ask? Jr. High/Middle School aged kids. They are more responsible & there are less risks associated with multimedia files.

Cohabitating, Marriage, Divorce
So we've all heard of parents arguing, separating, & divorcing after decades of marriage. Heck, each one of us has been on one or several of those stages with our parents.
Does it make you sometimes wonder if you're doomed for that yourself? Party of 3 told us many times that she'd never get married b/c she didn't want to be like her parents who have been divorced & remarried. Good philosophy I suppose but does it work when you have a child & are simply living together?
According to CNN, many of the cohabitating couples never discuss marriage. Out of those cohabitating, only 50% actually get married & if you are in that 50% who got married, living together prior to marriage falls you into a whole other category: a higher chance of getting divorced! :)
The truth is, while cohabitating is a preview to marriage life, it is nothing like the real thing. Living together gives both parties the "I'll do my share, you do yours" mentality. Nobody benefits & everything is "yours" & "mine". Marriage life is "what's mine is yours" all the way around. It forces the couple to help each other, have discussions about important decisions, & make decisions together.

How do you market Heroin??
On the heroin packet, criminals would print their "brand" of heroin. One guy got mad at another for dealing in his terrority & stealing his brand name. So, he began producing a different brand called Shooters which was a picture of 2 guns facing each other in an effort to send the other dealer a message. Interesting huh?
The Heroin Stamp Project show is scheduled to open today with a display of packets picked off the streets in an art gallery in New York. The point of the show you ask? Simply "to examine the intersection of advertising and addiction and provoke questions about how society addresses dependence and disease."

Rush Hour Puppet Show
Aww, sometimes I really wish I'd move to L.A. I'm still actually debating it, lol. Anyway, so you know how traffic can be hellish and you can be stuck in it for hours?
Well, there's this L.A. artist names Joel Kyack who "is using puppetry to help rush hour commuters stave off boredom." He uses puppets to put on a show from the back of his truck to drivers suck in the traffic jam behind him.
You might be thinking, "Well, that's nice but you can't hear it." Ah ha, actually those who are viewing the show can tune to a soundtrack of the puppet show which can be broadcast to the viewer's car stereo. How that works I'm not actually sure, but if I were stuck in a traffic jam this would definitely be awesome to watch.
How come all the cool stuff has to happen elsewhere? LOL.

Well, there you have it...
the Justice Department will be suing our state (Arizona) in regards to SB1070. What approach they decide to take is yet to be seen; however, they will probably go along the lines of the state interfering on the federal government's "turf." We'll see how this all plays out.

How to Stick with Exercising
Ever wondered why some people are able to stick with exercise? Well, If you exercise for the well being benefits rather than loosing weight, you are more than likely to stick with it longer. :) I so agree! That's how I stuck with it 2 years ago. I just need to get in that same mindset again...it's been hard to! Here are more reasons to keep exercising.
Are you one of those people that eat before exercise? I'm not because I know the benefits of working out on an empty stomach!! Read on.

Which Disney Princess was Your Favorite & Which are you?
First of all, let me begin by saying I always loved Cinderella. I think I could identify with the story more than the others since being hated by your stepmother & having evil stepsisters seemed more real to me than flying magic carpets, being rescued from a coma by a handsome prince, a beast becoming a prince, being a mermaid princess, & living in the forest with dwarf friends.
However, I never thought of myself as being a victim; I never have been & probably never will so I never thought of myself as Cinderella. I did love Belle b/c I love to read & Jasmine b/c I'd never marry out of love.
My sis on the other hand, loved the Little Mermaid and still does. She is however, also more carefree than I am. It's only natural that she'd want to live in the ocean, be a princess, do whatever she wants (which she does) and not listen to anyone at all (which she also does).
Anyway, Disney has a collection of bridal gowns & rings for your personality type. Which one are you?
My guesses:
StephluvsCoffee-Cinderella
Criminologynerd-Belle
Party of 3-Ariel
Me-Jasmine

Anti Monkey Butt Powder
On Monday we discover that we are selling a product called Anti Monkey Butt Powder at our hardware store & the employees had to do some sort of training for it. Naturally we'd say, "Say what? You're selling powder at a hardware store & it's selling like hot cakes?? What is it?"
We went searching & discovered that it's a powder that reduces frictional skin irritation, discomfort, itching & burning caused by sports and extrenous activities. There's also a lady powder & a baby powder. You have to check out the videos especially the biker & jogger ones; they are quite hilarious. We couldn't stop laughing at work yesterday!

Are you a recent Graduate? Looking for work?
You might want to read the article, Don't be a victim of interview bias. It gives some interesting tips for standing out above all the other applicants. Here's a quick outline of the article:
- Halo Effect Bias--positive attribute stands out to interviewer. Do your homework about the interviewer, know likes/dislikes & work history.
- Harshness/Horn and Negative Emphasis Bias--negative attribute stands out to interviewer. Ask if there's something they may have heard during the interview that concerns them about your ability to do the job.
- The Contrast Bias--Being compared to other applicants. Ask if there's a particular skill they've been looking for that has been hard to find in the pool in interviewees and be sure to give examples of how you possess that skill. Also ask what has stuck out as the key strenghts of the other candidates & be sure to point those out as well.
- Gut Feeling Bias--Interviewer assumes you aren't fit for the job. Discuss ability to work with diff. people, in a similar environment, think from diff. perspectives & be open-minded.
- Stereotyping & Generalization Bias--Interviewer assumes you posses/lack certain characteristics b/c you belong to a group or come from same school as other people they know. So, casually mention you have met similar req. in the past &/or ask if there are any particular req. they think you might not meet.
- Cultural Noise Bias--Interviewer believes you are stressing certain skills b/c you think that's what they want to hear/will get you the job. Ex. they stress teamwork, you say you like working in teams. Don't say you're a team player but rather give examples of how you worked well on teams.
- Nonverbal Bias--Based on body language. Ex. you make a face when they answer one of your questions. Smile & be friendly.
- Recency/Similar To Me Bias--When the interviewer remembers the most recent candidate instead of older ones. Be sure to ask how many candidates they are considering & try to establish a connection and explain how you are similar to the interviewer. Go back to Halo Effect.
- Do your homework about the company. They will be impressed to know you took the time to find out more about them & it will show them that you are truly interested in becoming part of the team.
- Prepare for the interview by going over possible Q&A. One of the most common questions most people aren't prepare for is "What are your strenghts & weaknesses?"
- Most interviewers want to hear a legitimate weakness as in "I put too much attention to detail so it can take me longer to get something done..."
- However, avoid making yourself sound like a slow, unable to meet deadlines, fool by adding, "but I understand the importance of deadlines & I work well under pressure."
- Be yourself but be on your best behavior. Avoid slang, cursing, lying, or exaggerating. If you don't know how to do something, don't say you can!
- Keep good posture & look the person in the eye. Be confident! You know you meet the qualifications so prove it by giving examples of previous similar experiences.
- When asked at the end if you have any questions, ASK THEM!
- It can be as simple as, "Why did the last person leave?" Or "How often will I have to do x?"
- It can be as direct as any of the suggested bias questions Or "If you hired me, which of my skills would you say the company could truly benefit from?"
- It can also be a tough question to ask them such as, "You asked what my strengths & weaknesses are, what would you say are the strengths & weaknesses of this position?" Or "I'm concerned about x, would you say it is something that happens regularly or is there something we can do to improve that?"
Lies, Murder, Caught at the Gates of Hell
So today I had one of those "find a series of links from doing something else" moments. I went online to check my email, ended up reading about Van der Sloot being in a Peruvian Prison named Miguel Castro prison, the jail that houses the country’s most dangerous convicts, who are doing time for common crimes, terrorism and drug trafficking. Van der Sloot is the suspect in the Holloway case and the last person people saw her with.
Michael Griffith, Senior Partner at the International Legal Defense Council says, "You ever see MSNBC's 'Lockup,' the program that covers all these American prisons? Let me put it to you like this. These guys on that show think they're tough, but if you sent them down to Peru, the prisoners there would make them into women. I'm telling you. You just don't know how bad it is. Van der Sloot has no idea what's coming.". I think he's got a point! I mean, if the new warden is murdered on the first day on the job, one can only imagine what luck Van der Sloot will have. However, he could just as easily bribe the guards or other prisoners for protection or escape.
Finally, I discovered the movie Midnight Express which I hadn't even heard of let alone know it was based on the story of an American man who was incarcerated in a Turkish Prison. It was one of Michael Griffith's notorious cases. It won 2 Oscars so I might just have to watch it!

Playing mind tricks...
You know how you sometimes click on a link that was shared by one of your friends and then you somehow end up finding some other interesting link because of that? Well, I just did that. I had clicked on link posted by a friend of mine on facebook and I ended up here:
10 Amazing Tricks to Play with your Brain
This site is pretty fun. I tried a few of the tricks that you can try right off that bat. But some of the others require some props so I'll have to wait to try those out. I would really like to try the phantom hand one and the Ganzfeld Procedure. That one looks very interesting and I wonder what my brain would come up with.
One that I have been doing for years without really knowing why it worked was the "shrink your pain" one. I don't remember when it was but I figured out that whenever I hurt myself, if I didn't look at the injury the pain would go away instantly. It's a very handy trick since I'm a terribly clumsy person and cut or bump myself constantly; however, I don't know if I'd be willing to try that out on anything bigger than a small cut or bump, lol.
When I got down to number three I had to try it out. It's called the "18000 Hz Sine Wine" and apparently people who over the age of twenty aren't able to hear it. This is because "as people get older they lose the ability to hear higher pitched sounds." Phew, I was still able to hear it so apprentely all that loud music hasn't affected me as much as I thought... yet. I tried it on both my sister (17) and brother (24) and they were both able to hear. However, when I tried it on my mother (47) she said she didn't hear jack. Crazy huh!?! LOL. Well anyway, check out the link to read all about the crazy stuff; pretty neat stuff, I think. :)
Elderly Woman
Here's a quote from a government employee who witnessed a recent inter-action between an elderly woman and an antiwar protester in a Metro station in DC.
Elderly Woman: "There were protesters on the train platform handing out pamphlets, on the evils of America. I politely declined to take one."
Government Employee: "The elderly woman was behind me getting off the escalator and a young (20-ish) female protester offered her a pamphlet, which she politely declined. The young protester put her hand on the old woman's shoulder as a gesture of friendship, and in a very soft voice the young lady said, "Lady, don't you care about the children of Iraq?"
The old woman looked up at her and said, "Honey, my father died in France during World War II, I lost my husband in Korea, and a son in Vietnam. All three died so you could have the right to stand here and badmouth our country. If you touch me again, I'll stick this umbrella up your ass - and open it !!!"

Payday!!
Today was payday & hubby's check was more than he thought (he didn't work 6 hours) so we looked at his pay stub & discovered that his holiday pay wasn't right. lol It was like 2 dollars under his pay rate. He argued that his holiday pay should be time & 1/2 & I told him I didn't think so because it had never been that way since I can remember.
Low & behold, I was right!! According to the Department of Labor, there is no such law that states that private sector employers are required to pay you (hourly employee) holiday pay (if you were off). They aren't even required to give you the day off!!! Did you know that?!!!
The good news, most employers reward you with holiday pay anyway and if you're one of those lucky people that worked during a holiday, you can expect those hours & pay to be treated as a normal work day paid at your regular pay rate. So, if you worked it & didn't get paid for it, make sure you do! Overtime pay is a totally different story though.
Anyway, back to my story: After our debate, I went to our payroll person to indicate the $2 per hour difference. She asked if it was ok for us to get it on next paycheck & I said, "Sure, it's no big deal, it's only like $8".
So we're getting back $8 whoopdie doo!! :P

Turbo Jam Fat Blaster!
I originally posted this on my personal blog but I decided to share this video with you:
I love this workout because it goes by fast & you have fun doing it! You will need to have loads of water & the pause button handy b/c you will need the quick water breaks. Well, at least the first few times you do the workout. Once you do it a few times, it becomes a breeze. I love doing the workout with a pair of dumbells in my hands.

Summer is Here
Isn't it insane that Summer is most definitely here? We got lucky with those cool days in June...when have you seen that?!! The only good thing about Summer is the River Trips & Barbecues! lol
There I go thinking of food! lol I'm a hungry girl, I can't help it! That reminds me, I want one of those Hungry Girl Recipe Books. Don't know what I'm talking about? Check out Hungry Girl!
Going back to my Summer story, I can't wait to get those River Trips started. We usually get up early morning like as soon as the sun is out (6am), make our own breakfast burritos to take out to the river with us. Once we get to the river, we combine all the different burritos & eat! About an hour later, we start to grill some hot dogs, burgers, etc. while we play volleyball in the river, float around, or what not so that by the time we get hungry, it'll be ready to go! ;)
We usually stay until before noon or we can't handle the heat anymore. Then we go back home to shower, apply after sun lotion, take a nap, & veg all day in front of the tv. It's a tiring day & the sun is hell but it's all worth it! We are going on June 18. Want to join us?!
About an hour later, we start to grill some hot dogs, burgers, etc. while we play volleyball in the river, float around, or what not so that by the time we get hungry, it'll be ready to go! ;)

Movie awards? Really?
Did you guys watch the MTV Movie Awards yesterday? I didn't. I mean what was the point if we all knew the winner of most categories was gonna be New Moon? Which of course it was by the way. Not to bag on all the Twilight fanatics, but seriously there were better movies than New Moon. I'm not saying that they should't have won some awards, but to win over everything knowing full well that they were better movies made is dumb to me. Might as well name it the MTV Twilight Awards next year; as my friend Rodrigo said.
Anyway, with that said I didn't know that they were going to air a new teaser trailer for HP 7. A buddy from twitter asked me if I had watched and I was like holly hell there's a new one? Aye, how could I not know. LOL. So, he linked it for me... I watched it and got shivers! I'm so freaken excited for it to be out later this year. I seriously can't wait. Check it out!

How do they get to be that way?
This was such an interesting read. I don't know if you all know about the controversy over a mural that was painted on a school in Prescott, Arizona.
Anyway, I suggest you read the link for the mural story then head over to the post Ebert made. It's an interesting post about the what he would feel if he was one of the children depicted in the mural. He also shares his story about what it was like to grow up during the civil rights movement.

Black Holes
I was reading this post from Deepak Chopra and you know what? Amazingly true. I started thinking...which I often do and sometimes its not so good. In my thinking process I learned (I already knew this actually) but I finally saw that goodness gracious I have many (ok maybe not that much but a couple at least) of black holes. They really do suck the energy out of everything else and it is very much disorienting. I guess at the moment I am traveling through what you would call a "Supermassive black hole." kidding kidding just a regular black hole defines what I am going through.
Which leads me to something else. I finally realized that all those jumbled negative thoughts, emotions, physical exhaustion, irritablity....etc etc etc is NORMAL. I was talking with my coworkers the other day and they were explaining that they have gone through stages when they began working where we are now in which they felt the exact same way.
This whole conversation started because one of my coworkers asked me how I was feeling since I didn't attend class the previous night....it was the day I twittered that I felt like I was hit by a semi trunk....it really did feel like that. So it was kind of funny that they were all like, "oh are the 2 months finally hitting you?" They explained to me that its a transitionary stage where I am getting settled into the new employment/new life situation...and I feel like its double because its both work and school realted. But I was assured that once I get through it, everything will be allright and I do believe that.
So to return to the black holes....I do believe that sometimes all we need is LOVE and that could take whatever form you want it to take....the love of family, friends, pets...etc. Below is the link to the post from Deepak Chopra that I started the blog with.

Old Friends
Have you ever gotten that unexpected email, phone call, or visit from an old friend? Today I got a call from an old friend at work & it was nice to talk for 5 minutes. I would have never expected that call at all especially not at work! It was neat though & it made my day!
It got me thinking about a few years back when I was off to college & went home to visit my parents. I got a call from an old friend/classmate by the name of Leticia Amarillas. I'll never forget her name. She called to find out how I was & to update me on what happened with all our old friends after I left so suddenly in 3rd grade. Not all the news was great news since one of the girls died (she was ill) but it sure was neat to catch up & talk to her again.
I don't know what ever happened to her though since that was the last time I spoke to her. It didn't occur to me to even ask her for her # so I never got it. I wish I had so I could call her this time. Perhaps I should do a search on her name...
Well, I hope I can concentrate on my work now instead of thinking how nice it was to chat & reminisce old times. lol :)

101 Uses for a Wedding Dress
So, John Tesh was talking about this guy that decided to start a blog about the many uses of a wedding dress after his wife left with everything but the dress. Check it out HERE!
Sushi!
Criminologynerd, you're not alone! Kim Kardashian was craving Sushi the other day & I have been craving it for a few days now. Why do we crave Sushi? Who knows! It's probably the salt & sugar added in the rice. What is Sushi though? Here's a neat recipe for making Sushi Rice which we'll have to try! I love the rice & all the different types of fish toppings. Check out the history! :)
How to write a paper in college/university:
Hmmm, this looks oddly familiar...
1. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a well lit place in front of your computer.
2. Log onto MSN and ICQ (be sure to go on away!). Check your email.
3. Read over the assignment carefully, to make certain you understand it.
4. Walk down to the vending machines and buy some chocolate to help you concentrate.
5. Check your email.
6. Call up a friend and ask if he/she wants to go to grab a coffee. Just to get settled down and ready to work.
7. When you get back to your room, sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well lit place.
8. Read over the assignment again to make absolutely certain you understand it.
9. Check your email.
10. You know, you haven't written to that kid you met at camp since fourth grade. You'd better write that letter now and get it out of the way so you can concentrate.
11. Look at your teeth in the bathroom mirror.
12. Grab some mp3z off of kazaa.
13. Check your email. ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR YET?!
14. MSN chat with one of your friends about the future. (ie summer plans).
15. Check your email.
16. Listen to your new mp3z and download some more.
17. Phone your friend on the other floor and ask if she's started writing yet. Exchange derogatory emarks about your prof, the
course, the college, the world at large.
18. Walk to the store and buy a pack of gum. You've probably run out.
19. While you've got the gum you may as well buy a magazine and read it.
20. Check your email.
21. Check the newspaper listings to make sure you aren't missing something truly worthwhile on TV.
22. Play some solitare (or age of legends!).
23. Check out bored.com.
24. Wash your hands.
25. Call up a friend to see how much they have done, probably haven't started either.
26. Look through your housemate's book of pictures from home. Ask who everyone is.
27. Sit down and do some serious thinking about your plans for the future.
28. Check to see if bored.com has been updated yet.
29. Check your email and listen to your new mp3z.
30. You should be rebooting by now, assuming that windows is crashing on schedule.
31. Read over the assignment one more time, just for heck of it.
32. Scoot your chair across the room to the window and watch the sunrise.
33. Lie face down on the floor and moan.
34. Punch the wall and break something.
35. Check your email.
36. Mumble obscenities.
37. 5am - start hacking on the paper without stopping. 6am -paper is finished.
38. Complain to everyone that you didn't get any sleep because you had to write that stupid paper.
39. Go to class, hand in paper, and leave right away so you can take a nap.

Bon Appetit!
Loud Restaurants attract more customers?!! Say what? According to the Bon Appetit Magazine restaurants are designed to be loud on purpose to create that "live" & "hapenning" atmosphere which customers seem to prefer.
I hate loud restaurants!! I don't mind when the people inside get loud since it shows they are having fun & the place is quite full but purposely turning the music on loud to create the atmosphere is insane! You can't hear yourself talk. I prefer a naturally created loud atmosphere over a planned one. Is it just me?

Wash Your Dishes Properly!
Melvin Pascall is a professor of food science and technology at Ohio State University. He says that the way you wash dishes is more important than water temperature, which means that without the proper technique, you’ll still have plates that harbor bacteria such as salmonella and E. coli, even if you wash them in scalding water. Dr. Pascall usually works with restaurants to make sure they meet FDA guidelines, but he says proper dishwashing is just as important at home. So, here’s how to make sure you’re getting your dishes germ-free:
•Don’t let dishes sit! Dried on food is especially hard to remove, and one microscopic particle stuck to a plate equals thousands of bacteria. The substance that attracts the most bugs is dried-on milk, so rinse your glass right away.
•Add bleach. Fill one side of your sink with soapy water and the other with clear water for rinsing. Then, add a couple of drops of bleach to your rinse water. According to Pascall, rinsing in bleach water kills a hundred thousand times more bacteria than rinsing in plain water.
•Pay extra attention to silverware and metal pans since bacteria like these surfaces the most. Pascall recommends taking extra time to wash the hard to clean utensils like forks, especially those covered in sticky substances like cheese.

Turn Off your TV!
According to a Nielson study, the average person spends five hours a day watching TV. That’s three-and-a-half months a year! Not Convinced? I’ll give you a few more reasons, courtesy of the health and wellbeing website, LifeOptimizer.org:
•TV lowers your IQ
•It stresses us out
•Ditching your TV also saves money
•It hurts your relationships
Turning off your TV will boost your brainpower, lower your stress, save you money, and improve your relationships. Those three-and-a-half months you wouldn’t be watching TV every year? It’d be the equivalent of having a 15-week vacation!

"Dusting" & Cheerleading
I hadn't even heard of this before but I guess teens new drug is inhaling "Dust Off" There's even YouTube Videos on kids showing other kids how it's done & one of paretns trying it to see why kids were doing this. It's crazy! So be sure to Warn Kids About The Dangers of "Dusting"
Cheerleading is the most dangerous sport for girls because it is not considered a sport but rather an activity. Most injuries caused by it result in a skull/brain or spinal cord injury/fracture.

Sleep
I went to bed late all weekend long because I was trying to unpack & do some cleaning. The walls have dust all over them & I can't really clean them until the boxes are out of my way. So, I've been putting the boxes in their prospective rooms until I can empty them out.
Monday night I was trying to go to bed early so that I could be ready for work the following day but I couldn't fall asleep. I was tired as hell too. So why is it that when we're the most tired, we have the hardest time falling asleep?
Last night I went to bed early. It was about 8:20 pm & I was falling asleep on the couch. I kept asking baby if he was ready to go to sleep but he kept ignoring me (meaning no). I went to bed finally at 9pm & I was out, I mean in a deep sleep out. However, this morning I woke up feeling as though I didn't get enough sleep. I slept pretty good. Why is that?
Last but certainly not least, my alarm went off at 4:30am (same time as always), I heard it but I thought, a few more minutes & I'll get up. I fell back asleep & woke up at 4:45am, freaked, rushed, & had enough time to make a pb & j sandwich with milk to go. I always wondered why we wait until the last minute to get up when we know we'll be rushing if we wait any longer. What is it about those 15 extra minutes?
I was listening to the John Tesh Intelligence for Your Life Radio Program at work yesterday & he mentioned the reason for this but I can't remember now & I wish I could find it on his site. I've been looking for it. I'll post it as a comment when I find it.

Body Issues
Sorry for being MIA on my designated day (Saturday). We haven't connected the Internet at home so I might end up having to post on Mondays (yesterday was a holiday & I was off) until we do. Anyway, here's my Saturday post (5/29/10):
I always wore loose fitting shirts over my jeans/pants to conceal my bellly that needed worked on but today for the first time since high school I was able to wear my shirt tucked in without feeling self conscious!!
I even got a compliment at work for that! Imagine that! Now, by no means do I have a six pack on my stomach but at least there isn't a huge bulge sticking out over my pants. lol Then again, my jeans are a size bigger than I'm used to...Perhaps that's the trick?!! I refused to do that though because I didn't want to be "bigger" lol The only reason I bought these jeans is because they were only $8 & I couldn't pass that up.
Needless to say, many people agree that buying the correct size makes you feel better about yourself & in turn helps you loose the weight.
So what part of your body are you most conscious about & what clothing do you wear to "fix" it?? Don't say you don't because even skinny people have body issues & wear clothing to help enhance the best features & conceal the not so great ones.

M-O-O-N that spells MOON!
So I was watching this video earlier:
Mmmm, might try the recipe that SAP used, hahaha. Anyway, I like checking out the comments that people write below the videos and for some reason I had to click on this one person's account (lacigreen) because Ponce and SAP liked her channel. So, I go on there and the first video I saw had to do with this thing called a MoonCup. Have you guys heard of these? They are used during menstruation instead of tampons or pads.
I don't remember where it was but I had heard of these before and I thought they were freaken weird. I think it was at night during one of those weird ass late night infomercials or something. Hahaha. Anyway, the chick does a review on the product:
But I was wondering would you guys use it? I think I would. It seems rather odd but I mean how much weirder can it be than a tampon? LOL. Anyway let me know what you guys think. Peace.
PS. I totally watched The Stand today. M-O-O-N! :p
