Everyone in the house here said happy bday to me except one. I am sure you know who that was....lol I got a bbq and a cake (I did not know I was getting). I thought I was not going to get anything (I did not get a present, but I am not really into that as much as when I was a kid) so after taking G's sister to school (her car broke down) I went to the mall and brought myself a bracelet.

Pulling out books huh? That's hilarious! I remember baby H used to pull out the dishes in the kitchen. So we always made sure to keep plastic ones there. Then I'd let him play with them until his heart was content. lol
a bbq & cake are better than nothing at all! Good for you on the bracelet thing. I haven't been into presents since forever. I've always been happier just hanging out & or going out to eat/watch movies.
I haven't been to the movies in a while though. The last movie I saw in theaters was Letters to Juliet.
