Can you believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve already? This week flew by like you wouldn't believe! Maybe not for everyone but for me it has. Probably b/c I've been super duper busy at work trying to get caught up from being sick last week plus preparing for the holidays & trying to be somewhat ready for next week.
YIKES! I really have gotten lots accomplished this week even though it may not seem like it. lol It actually reminded me of the super busy days of my past, which I loved & somehow missed...yes, I'm crazy I know but I like being busy!
I think I should bust out with my handy dandy daily planner & write EVERYTHING I want to get done that day/week. I work better under pressure & when I see what I need to do. Otherwise, I rely on the Mexican side of me which pretty much leaves everything for tomorrow. That reminds me of my Mexicans & Americans: Cracking the Culture Code book that I love but that's a blog for another day! ;)
Well, I leave you now with some movies you might want to watch over the holiday weekend:
The Other Guys-Funny parts you'll remember way after the movie is over so "let's aim for the bushes" lol Those of you who have watched it know what I'm talking about. lol This movie is an action comedy with Will Ferrel & Mark Walberg. They play cops who, for whatever reason, haven't actually been out in the field. Will is an ex pimp turned accountant & Mark is an emotional mess. It's laugh out loud funny..."Bye Sheila!" lol
Going the Distance-Drew Barrymore & Justin Long are hilarious in this! The table preview scene with Cristina Applegate is only 1/2 the actual scene. You got to watch it to get it completely. lol Drew & Justin meet the day of his breakup with his girlfriend but neither is looking for a serious relationship...until they fall in love that is & Drew has to move from NY to CA. Since neither wants to be apart from each other, they decide to try the long distance relationship thing & they encounter lots of difficult moments along the way. Very cute & romantic but very funny!
A-Team-full of action with a great cast! A remake of course but still worth watching! ;) For those who haven't seen the original it's about a bad ass* lol military elite group of men who go out of their way to complete missions while remaining on the low down. Very good!
Knight & Day-I have to be honest & say that originally I didn't think this movie would be as great as it was. I still can't say it was the BEST Cruise/Diaz movie ever but it was funny as heck! Mr. Cruise (Knight) plays an agent running away from THE LAW. lol He meets Diaz (Day) at the airport as he's about to board the plane. He tries to persuade her from going on the flight but things don't go as planned and she goes onboard the plane. That's where things start to get interesting! She has no clue what's going on at all & as the movie progresses, she goes through doubt/trust phases trying to guess Cruise's identity.

Rewatched The A-Team, The Other Guys and Knight and Day this week, all throughly enjoyable.
Knight and Day got a bad wrap for some unfounded reason when it first came out but it's lots of fun!
It probably got a bad rep b/c it was crazy Mr. Cruise & the acting I suppose could have been a bit better for theater watching. lol
Overall though, I really enjoyed it. :P
