2011 is going to be a weird year for us. Here's why: my little sister graduates from high school, we will have been at our house for a year, my sis in law whom we haven't met is getting married so we will be traveling to TN, we want to rent a log cabin for Christmas/New Year's Eve, & I'm going to make a decision on baby#2. lol. We'll see how all that turns out.
In the meantime, I'm still undecided about New Year's Eve celebration. I'm so worn out from Thanksgiving/Christmas & being sick for 2 weeks that I am not so sure I'll make it through New Year's & being up til midnight...God give me strength!
So, now you tell me:
- What are your highlights of the year?
- Anything you want to accomplish in 2011?
- What are you doing to celebrate the New Year?

I KNEW IT!! It was a damn tornado! lol
There were a few highlights/traumas(by trauma I mean some scary events that made me grow) in 2010 for me...haha
Here are a few of my highlights(well the ones that I can remember from 2010)
*The first one that I remember was the crazy storm we had in January
*Then it was my parents wedding
*My sister graduating middle school and starting Highschool (made me realize that I am OLD! lol)
* A major one was starting the master's program
*Getting a new job.....(trauma numero uno! Oh my gosh it has taken alot of me and it has taken all of my will power to adjust and roll with the punches. Sink or swim....or float more like it lol)
*Realizing the this world is severely F*ed up.... :/
*Getting crashed into....(trauma numero dos! My little car went byebye and I had/have backpains for the longest time. My personality changed a little too....for the worse haha It's all good now though :))
*Got a new car....forcibly because of previous highlight lol
*Dad losing his job because of the company closure....not a good highlight but a highlight none the less. blah (Trauma numero tres....made me realize "oh, what the hell are we going to do? Where are we going to live? etc, etc, etc....)
*Grandma going into the hospital before christmas.....(trauma numero cuatro. This kind of changed the whole holidays for me....it just wasn't the same anymore. Thankfully grandma is better, adjusting and recuperating at home. :) )
Those are my highlights and by golly I am glad that 2010 is over. It has been a tough year for me as it has been for others as well.
I don't know just yet what I would like to do in 2011. For starters I would like to eat healthier. Continue to grow in my "profession" continue to grow as a person and gain the confidence that I need to continue forward. I would LOVE to travel and go to wonderful places. I would LOVE to spend more time with my friends and family members (including our furry family members). And over all I would love to become a much better person.
2011 please, please please be much better than 2010!!
PS: It might be nice to have or look into getting my own place....I think it may be time.....if I could afford it that is lol
Man, you sure did experience quite a bit! However, you can't exactly say 2010 was a waste or pointless b/c as you put it, all the events made you grow! :) That's a big one! :)
As for the traveling, I'm hoping I get to do that this year! So excited! If nothing else, I want to at least go to 1 place I haven't been before...Grand Canyon? Laughlin/Vegas? Lake Havasu?
Anywhere really as long as I get to do something! OR how about a 2 hr. cruise in San Diego? That ought to be fun! ;)
