Up Dating and Then Some

Childhood stories to scare me? Yes, I do remember one and it wasn't the lady who drowned her kids.....lol. My mom told me once that if I hit her my hand would turn into a rock. Then there was another one that she told me about a disobident son that did not listen to his mother and he started sinking into ground and eventually he was all the way in the ground. I was about six years old when she told me those stories. What did your parents tell you?

Wowsers Steph you sound like me sometimes. I went to Wal-Mart to buy some supplies I needed and ended up spending 15 dollars over my budget. Sounds silly, but at the last time I brought something I really liked was my dance shoes....lol.

I saw the U-tube how lond did you guys stay out there?

Baby S has been sick these last couple of days and today is starting to feel better. Yesterday and the day before he was was not himself, and wanted to be hugged all the time. Today was G's cousin's 14th birthday, and his mom made a dinner and G bought a cake. We were at the table eating and the roommate here was talking about how the cousin is being provoked at school, and he told him to tell the teacher, and not to do anything unless they throw the first punch. I turned around and told G. "You need to start counceling him, you need to keep him on a leash, now is the time he needs you the most." You know what the lady said????? The school is almost over in two months. Her sister-in-law agreed.

You guys don't know how mad that made me. Because there is so much shit that goes on when a young teenager is growing up. Not only that but one needs to teach kids so that they can be in the real world. I am seriously going to take it upon myself to teach him if nobody else will.

Well, just because the school is almost over doesn't mean that G doesn't need to tell him something. The kid is not used to American rules, procedures, etc. He needs to know that when these things happen he needs to tell the teacher. You & G need to sit down with him on a day that you both can & tell him. If G doesn't agree with you & contradicts you in front of him well it's another story that will need to be addressed later. The poor kid does need to know how to handle certain situations & if nobody tells him, he will be in some deep trouble that not even G will be able to fix.

You know you can comment on the blog posts? I guess you choose not to but it's nice to be able to see the comments relating to that particular blog post under it rather than in a whole new blog.

I wish I knew how to link one blog post to the original blog posts because I know we've started several in relation to SB 1070. It'd be nice to link them all together to be able to follow them.

If I can see this why doesn't anybody else? I hate to say it but I am thinking G needs to learn himself if he doesn't want to listen.
