Shoppaholicism??

I am in trouble....so the reason why I didn't blog earlier was not because of work but because I decided it would be a brilliant idea to go shopping for jeans which I really needed.

I got jeans....and then a shirt, then another one and then maybe two more. I got something I really didn't need some jewel toned bangles that are awesome and make me feel like i belong in Bollywood! =) Point is I have an issue....some people drink to relieve stress....some people eat to relieve stress....some people do other stuff to relieve stress. What do I do? I shop for stuff I probably don't really need....because its the purchase of those things that I don't need that give me the greatest joy. As you can see my prized purchase was the Bollywood bangles hahaha

What do you guys do to relieve stress? and What has been your most prized purchase recently?

I relieve stress by shopping too which is horrible! If you're stressing over money, buying stuff only makes it worse & you end up buying stuff you don't even need! So, I decided to start exercising again instead & only go shopping when I truly need another article of clothing or I'm looking for that cute new addition to go with something I already have.

My most recent prized purchase would be my butterfly purse! I love it! It was cheaper than my last purse, it's cute, it's colorful, & makes me smile! :) My only concern is that I'll wear it out & not be able to find a replacement ever again!!

If you haven't noticed lol I'm an stress eater. It's horrible and sometimes I find myself eating when I know I'm not hungry. I've tried to drink water instead of eating crap, but sometimes I fail and thus, my loosing weight fight fails.

I need to make a major life change, but I'm finding it more difficult than I thought.

As for prized purchase, I haven't made one in a while. :( I did add two more items to my makeup collection which I love though: Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero and OPI Nail Varnish in Under My Trenchcoat. They both last a really long time on, especially the nail varnish. Super plus! :P

I'm a stress eater too though. It's so bad! When I'm stressed I tend to just scream (like, "AHHHH!!!") in the middle of the room (at home). Then I crave comfort food like chocolate, anything with melted cheese on it (cheeseburgers, nachos, jalapeƱo poppers, quesadillas, Doritos, etc.) or anything sweet with milk (cookies, cake, ice cream, etc.). Then I feel even worse b/c of all the junk I ate that I want to go out & shop for clothes. I usually end up doing both eating & shopping. Don't you love stress!! AHHHHH!!!

Exercise is the best stress reliever though. It's like you're in a much better mood, you feel like you can do anything, nobody can ruin your day, etc. So, when a stressful situation arises, you know exactly what to do (probably cuz you're more alert). Your body starts craving healthier foods too which is always a plus!!
