A la Youtube...

So, my friend Crystal had asked me a couple of weeks ago if I would recreate a makeup look for her. But since, it was finals and graduation and all the jazz I didn't have the time to get to it until tonight, hence why this blog entry is so late.


Anyway, so I didn't know if she wanted a video or just pictures. I ended up filming it, but holy hell do you know how freaken hard it is to make a makeup tutorial? What the hell was I thinking? LOL. I must give major props to those on Youtube who make such vids because it really does take major work. So, anyway my video won't be up until I can edit it because my videographer skills are major lame. Hahaha. But I do have some pictures of the look to share.


Um, I should warn you though; this isn't a tame look in the least. It's a recreation of Amy Nicoletti's makeup from LA Ink. I've only watched that show like twice and don't ever remember seeing her on there. I went off a few pics that Crystal posted for me and I tried looking some up on my own, but seriously though it was hard to find pics on this gal. So anyway, I tried my bestest and you'll get to see how very sloppy I can be at applying making. Ha.

Look we were trying to recreate. Eh, not exactly the same, but then again I look nothing like this chick.

Sheer Miracle SPF 30 Loose Mineral Foundation Makeup  in Buff. 

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in medium dark for contour. 

SHANY Bold and Bright Collection Vivid Eyeshadow, 120 Color Palette I used the black, red, and white out of this pallet. 

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Shadow Liner 604 Milk as a base for the eyeshadow. 

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Duo ($34 Value!) 2 ea- Zero

CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara Very Black 800, 0.21-Ounce Tube I love this one, but it's not the one I used. Will do the job though! :)

Anastasia Brow Ex-Press Brow Palette, Blonde 1 kit I used a sample of this. It's awesome but too damn expensive for me right now. Go for an eyeshadow the same color as your brows or slightly bit darker for this look. 

Maybelline Gel Eye Liner - Black This one works fine, but I used a Physicians Formula one in black. I got it at CVS on sale! Buy one pack of three and get the other half off! They cost the same as the Maybelline one, but hell you get way more in cool colors! I have to go back and get the other two sets. :P

Red Cherry Eyelashes #82 (6 Packs) I actually used #202's but they don't have a link.
