The story takes place in the 1970's. It starts like any other typical movie until the main character, a dead girl, starts telling you the story. She gives you insight to her family, how she died, the events leading up to her death, and a bit of background about her killer. This movie is sad! It won't make you cry but it is a thought provoking one. My husband liked it. He said, "it was fucked up but at least he [the killer] got what he deserved." I want to read the book!

I want to read the book too. My mom and I saw the movie when it was out in theaters. We both liked it, we were like WTF? When he hadn't been caught but was were like fuck ya when he died the way he did. :)
