Aaannndd it's summertime again

It's my day to blog again!

So im guessing that summer is HERE!! geez today was scorching outside. So now that summer is basically officially here do any of you all have plans for the summer?? And by plans I mean fun plans lol

Talking about summer, summer is the season of bikinis, tans and feeling iffy about how our bodies look.....yea I am no exception to that one. I never wear bikinis or bathingsuits.....i wear shorts and a tshirt lol Back to the body image bit. I have noticed that I need to exercise...hahaha things are not the same as before. I do need to exercise a bit because one it might give me more energy, and two it might lift things that need some lifting hahaha

Are you all exercising at the moment? If so what are you working on and could i have some tips on exercising because I need them lol


PS I don't know how well I followed are preset topics to blog about.....I'll try to stick to the topics next time!!!

Summer rules! Well, not really. I agree with you 100%. I've always been self conscious about my body so I only wore bathing suits around family & usually with a shirt on top of it.

Now that I have a baby I sure as heck am not in a bathing suit shopping frenzy! I wish I could wear one that wouldn't make me so self-conscious. Aren't Summer bathing suits awesome!

On another note, Summer is a great time to hit the Colorado river & enjoy nature. :) Napping under a tree, reading a good book, picnics, bbq's. My Summer is always full of all those things. This year won't be an exception.

Moving along, I've been trying to work out but only seem to do it when I remember to. LOL I seriously need the motivation & I just haven't had it. I did in the beginning but 1 month into the exercising & I'm pretty much about to give up. :(

However, here are some workout tips that have worked for me in the past:

1. Work out when you feel comfortable, in between waiting times, or in spare time. 5 minutes 6x/day adds up to 30 minutes you wouldn't otherwise have worked out.

2. We all wait everywhere, at the doctor's ofc., at work, at home. Don't give the "I don't have time" excuse (I do it too).

4. Don't use the "I don't have the proper equipment" excuse. In Summer months you usually carry a water bottle with you, use it to your advantage & do bicep curls with it. ;)

3. When watching tv, exercise too (commercials are great!). A good show or movie will make time fly by FAST!

4. Use the stairs whenever possible. Going up & down them in spare times is also a great way to work out. I do it at work when I get tired of sitting. :)

5. Use good posture, it makes all the difference. :)

6. Do crunches in bed before you crash, they will help you sleep better.

7. Once you get started, say 3 days in a row, don't stop!! Remember how hard it was to get in the routine & how much you really want that toned body. You & I both know, once you stop, you won't go back! :P
