You ain't got no pancake mix!!!

What does the title have to do with this blog? Absolutely nothing! :D But there is a story behind the phrase that you may or may not know about. A simple Google search will bring you into the loop of popular internet memes.

Anyway, on my regular romp through the internet I stumbled upon some cool nail art vids. For some reason I have gotten into nail art quite a bit, but unfortunately I don't quite have the dexterity that many of the people who create nail designs do. But eh, I try to work at it anyway... practice, practice, practice.

I've been meaning to do my nails into a cool Halloween design, but I keep thinking that if I do and get called in for a job interview... well, they may frown upon that. So I decided to do my toes instead. LOL.

I used GoldieStarlings vid for inspiration. I ended up only drawing faces on my big toes (Ugh, that sounds gross to say). I painted one as Frankenstein and one as his bride. I won't show you guys because I think it would be odd to post a picture of my feets on the net. LOL.

Here the inspiration vid followed by other Halloween nail vids that I found to be cool.

Oh and here's this cool Word Press blog I found for nail designs. She has some pretty cute and unique ones. e.g. the Maleficent one and the Nightmare Before Christmas one. :) Lindsey the Vampire Slayer

lol r u sure it's b/c it'd be weird?! lol It's not like you're showing your full feet just the toe nail with the designs!! lol

You're too funny! I like the crime scene one the best. I don't know that I would ever do my nails like that though. It'd take longer to do than to chip them & I wouldn't be able to stand them for too long.

I need change; I get bored easily! lol

YES, it's still weird! Even more weird if I only post a picture of my big toe! :O Ewwww.

I change my nails at least once a week so I never get bored. As for chipping ya, sometimes it happens, but it happens less if you have a good topcoat. I like the Orly Sec'n Dry Deep-Dry Topcoat. I'll post it as one of those amazon thingys so you can check it out. I buy mine at Sally's though.
