So, did you guys hear about the lady who is pregnant with two babies but they aren't twins and they are about a week apart in development?
It's a crazy true story! The lady has two uteruses or didelphys as it is called by the pros. Can you image being pregnant like this!?! It's pretty freaken crazy and kinda scary to tell you the truth. I hope everything goes well with her pregnancy.
When I asked the Booger if she had heard about the lady she was like, "Wait are the babies from the same father???" I just shook my head at her and was like, "Of course you would ask that." LOL. Anyway check out the full story here.

Wow! That's scary & neat. It's interesting but not shocking; we've heard of babies born with babies in them. CREEPY!
Anyway, I do hope her pregnancies go well and that they go full term. I do wonder how the labor part of it works though.
Will she go into labor for one baby & then go back a week later with the other baby OR will her labor from the 1st baby bring on the labor of the 2nd baby? Will they do a C-Section considering they're only a week apart?
I'm scared for her just thinking about it. Hope all goes well though.
I have heard of that, and the baby having a baby in the baby . . . weird. Maybe they will do a C-section because they are only a week apart and I do not think two vaginal births a week apart will be safe. It also makes me wonder about her period can you imagine us getting two in the same month from time to time is a bitch, but two uteruses?!?!?!
You know what I hate about C-Sections??? Once you've had one for whatever reason, you're stuck with having C-sections for the rest of your deliveries. You don't have to but most doctors will do another C-section because you can tear your uterus if you have a VBAC (vaginal birth after C-section).
I suppose if you choose them, it's great but what if you had to because of complications? What if you were pregnant with twins? Doctors will usually do a C-section with twins to avoid cord complications & distress. So if you're pregnant with twins you can kiss your hopes of having a vaginal birth goodbye.
Now I'm not completely dissing C-sections. In case of complications, it's best to have a C-Section than than risk having serious problems with the delivery/baby. They help protect the vaginal walls, you can schedule them, & you'll be sure that the baby(ies) will be delivered without distress.
However, I believe there are far more risks/annoyances associated with them. Baby could be cut during surgery, healing can be difficult, can't bond with child at first due to healing process, need help from others b/c can't move around, infections/complications could have you back in hospital, future births may be complicated for you & baby.
I wouldn't do a C-section unless it was a dire emergency. How do you feel about the subject?
I would not do a C-section unless it was an emergency. Its for the safety of the baby/mother.
