I think there comes a stage when we all go through this feeling of failure & to be honest, it's our own faults!!
I mean, growing up you have this idea of what life will be like. You make a mental list of all the things YOU'RE GOING TO DO (b/c you're all powerful) & ACCOMPLISH BY A CERTAIN AGE (b/c you're a miracle worker). The truth of the matter is that life doesn't work that way.
It's full of responsibility, hard work, diffuculties, surprises, & unplanned outcomes. You have to revise, edit, & redo what you can & learn to move on with what you can't correct.
I think the moving on part is the most difficult & the one that gets us in a crappy, depressed mood & with feelings of inadequacy & failure. We are our own worst enemy/critic.
